Appalachia Service Project is a home repair ministry that serves the poorest families of central Appalachia.
The Westborough Appalachia Service Project team, sponsored by First United Methodist Church and St. Luke the Evangelist Parish of Westborough, sends volunteers each year to provide much needed home repair and renewed hope to families in rural Appalachia.

COVID Update 2022
With the summer behind us, the Youth Team starts to turn its focus to 2022, in the hope (once again) that by next summer all of this will be behind us.
If travel is a problem next summer, we will plan to once again do a program of local service as we did this year. Our season officially starts with an informational meeting for prospective new participants on Oct 3 at 7:30 pm. We will make a decision closer to time as to whether this will be an in-person (hopefully!) meeting held in St Luke's Parish Hall or a Zoom call. If you're in 9th grade or above, and interested in a program of service through hands-on home repair (or know someone who is), please mark your calendar and plan to attend. We need caring adult leaders as well! Registration deadline for the summer team will be Oct 17.
